NT Systems Administrators

The NT Systems Administrator will be responsible for administrating multiple Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 web servers. Servers are running on IIS 4.0 web server software. The individual must have familiarity with Perl and Active Server Pages. The NT Systems Administrator will be a key member of the systems administration staff, and be responsible for planning web based infrastructure capacity and server grooming projects. Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, and Cold Fusion server-side applications a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Configuring server hardware and software, installing software upgrades and patches
  • Developing, tracking and implementing project plans for server farm build out projects
  • Ordering equipment
  • Scheduling and coordinating server upgrades
  • Updating databases and documentation
  • Planning and implementing Internet and Intranet solutions

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an ISP/LAN/WAN internetworking environment
  • Knowledge of Internet related protocols and services required
  • In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite as well as SNMP capabilities
  • MCSE certification
  • Experience with Windows NT Server installation, implementation, and ongoing support
  • Significant experience with the following technologies: HTML, HTTP, Gopher, FTP, NNTP, SMTP/MIME, POP3, IMAP4, SSL 3.0, PPP, PPTP, ActiveX, ISAPI, CGI, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, CIFS, Internet Information Server, Netscape Navigator, Cold Fusion and Internet Explorer
  • Superior organizational, oral and written communications skills are desired
  • Professional interaction skills in customer, business partner and technical staff situations
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Proven experience in adhering to standard operating procedure
  • Flexibility to work within standard server maintenance windows (early mornings, weekdays and weekends)

UNIX Systems Administrators

The UNIX Systems Administrator will be responsible for administrating multiple Solaris 2.6 web servers. Servers are running on Apache web server software. The individual must have familiarity with Perl and shell scripting. The UNIX System Administrator will be a key member of the systems Administratoring staff, and be responsible for planning web based infrastructure capacity and server grooming projects. Knowledge of MySQL and mSQL a plus.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads from various directories, trade publications, and professional associations. Additional duties will include the following: 

  • developing sales pitches for prospective clients; 
  • preparing sales activities reports; 
  • informing current and prospective clients on new or upgraded products; and 
  • securing and closing a percentage of prospects.

This position requires either a bachelor's degree or demonstrated success in a sales or technical environment. Excellent verbal and written skills are a must. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese or German, as well as experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is a definite plus, but not necessary.     This position requires excellent customer service skills; ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form; and familiarity with AOL, Netscape, Internet Explorer and basic Internet functions.

    BILLING COLLECTIONS

    This position requires two years experience in credit and collections; excellent phone and communication skills; basic accounting skills, ten key by touch; computer literate with some knowledge of Internet; and great customer service skills. Mathematical aptitude a must.

    RENEWAL ENHANCEMENT

    This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills; some sales experience, but not overly aggressive. Responsible for increasing customer retention.
