Our policy

Content
All services may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.

Note: Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on all our shared hosting servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or link to adult content elsewhere. This is also true for sites that promote any illegal activity or content that may be damaging to our servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

In addition any site selling or promoting Bulk email services is not allowed on all servers.

Examples of non-acceptable content or links on our Shared Hosting Servers:

• Pirated software
• Hackers programs or archives
• Warez Sites
• Irc Bots
• Mp3

We will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Traffic Guidelines
Due to the unique resource characteristics and traffic patterns associated with certain types of sites, the following are limited to 3 gigs of free traffic (shared hosting only):

• Shareware, sound, video, image and multimedia archives
• Mirror sites or Sites with Banners, graphics or cgi's running from their domain used on other domains.
• Distribution points
• Any site whose primary purpose is file distribution (This is any site where 10% or more of there monthly traffic is from file downloads)
• Sites using more than 10% of system resources.

For those of you who do not qualify, additional bandwidth usage over the amount allotted in the plan or the pre-arranged, pre-paid amount will be billed at the end of that month to the pre-arranged credit account. Billing of additional bandwidth usage is subject to all other terms of this agreement and no refund will be given on the charges. We currently charge an extra $14.95/GB/Month for any extra bandwidth (unless otherwise specified).

Other Guidelines 
Due to the unique resource characteristics and to avoid abuse to any of our unlimited features, client cannot use more than 10% of the server's resources (CPU, Disk, Memory or web port connections).

CGI Scripts 
Each account comes with its own cgi-bin. You are free to use any CGI scripts you wish, however we reserve the right to disable any CGI script that effects normal server operation.

Chat Rooms 
We do not allow clients to install their own chat rooms. These tend to be large system hogs and we cannot allow it as an account option. We do provide a choice of Java chat rooms for a small extra charge that will more than fill your needs and run without hindering the performance of the machine for others. You are limited to one chat room on your domain.

Background Running Programs 
We may allow programs to run continually in the background. These are considered on a one to one basis and an extra charge will be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.

IRC 
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.

Commercial Advertising - Email: 
Our servers may not be the source, intermediary, or destination address involved in the transmission of spam, flames, or mail bombs. Your domain may not be referenced as originator, intermediary, or reply-to address in any of the above. Advertising sites on other servers which in turn contain links to a domain on our servers is prohibited. We consider spam any mass unsolicited message in the mediums of Newsgroups and Email. If you are found to have spammed, then we will immediately, without warning, disable your domain. In addition, we will impose a $100 penalty for each spam policy violation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service to known spammers. Lastly, we reserve the right to determine what violates this policy.

As such, any violation will result in immediate deactivation of services without refund.

Abuse of Unlimited Traffic and Unlimited Storag e 
Sentris.Com Network's concept behind "unlimited traffic" and "unlimited storage" is to provide our customers with an unlimited amount of storage space and bandwidth for active web pages and cannot be used as a "storage space" for electronic files. Sites that fall under "electronic storage" are LARGE archives of images, compressed files, movies, or sound files. Sentris.Com allows up to 25 megs of archive storage, ex. movies, sound files (including real audio files), images, compressed files, Real Audio or Video archives, ect. To ensure proper use, all HTML pages MUST be hyperlinked to files (.html,.jpg, .gif, etc.) stored on Sentris.Com Network's server and vice versa. Cgi chat scripts are also not allowed and are considered and abuse of unlimited bandwidth. Any cgi scripts that consume large amounts of cpu usage or memory are also not allowed. The user will be asked to remove any script that abuses system resources.

Server Abuse: 
Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to a server is strictly prohibited.

Fees: 
We have the right in any event to change any of our fees, with or without prior notice to the customer. In the event that it occurs, customers have the right to continue or terminate the service with us.

Refund: 
Our service is non-refundable (unless otherwise noted), so once it is delivered and/or payment is confirmed, you can only contact us to cancel and may gualify for partial/full credits back to your account. We do not give out money back.

Refusal of Service: 
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at our sole discretion. No refund will be given on any pre-paid payment.

If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed it will result in grounds for immediate account deactivation.
